  • Wednesday, April 19, 2017 - The Forum & the Blog have been closed. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for visiting. ~ JimO

  • Monday, April 17, 2017 - We are adding several new articles, 4 new quotes, and a new section which is for comparing verses in the King James Bible to other versions. You will find it under the name KJB Comparisons. We start off with four pages of verses comparing the KJBible to the NIV (New International Version) where we include a brief comment on each verse. I first wrote this comparison around 1995 and it was posted on my site up until about 2003. Keep updated by subscribing to our RSS Feed for the latest changes to the site. You can always contact us through our email contact page.
Thanks for visiting and God Bless. ~ JimO

  • From time to time as Christians we all need to examine ourselves as to whether we are walking in the words of God or in the words of men. Asking who is guiding our footsteps as we go about our daily lives?

Most professing Christians walk in a mixture of mans' words and of Gods' words. Paul said in Galatians 5:9; "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump" There is no room in God's Word or the interpretation of it for the words of mortal men.

Our goal here at Walking His Word is to point all, whether long time believers or new converts, to the pure Word of God and the way He intended we walk.

Thanks for visiting our site. We hope you will be blessed and that you learn something of God and His Word that you didn't know before your visit. May the Lord guide you is my prayer. ~ Jim cross-indicating end of article

It has only been in the last one hundred or so years and mostly in the last few decades that almost all of the churches in America have either avoided teaching, or have perverted, true Bible doctrines. Little by little bits of the world, bits of Roman Catholicism, bits of secular humanism and many other pagan religions have all crept into what is passed off as Christian doctrine, thought and behavior. Since God does not change, and has not changed His mind or His Doctrine, and we do not operate on popular opinion, we see no reason to change the doctrine which we teach since it comes only from the Bible.
